Upcoming: Future Sounds Of Folk Concert 05 – Featuring Jimbot w/ Bambu Wukir + One Man Nation

Upcoming concert at The UnifiedField’s Yogyakarta closing event. This event will include the full screening of acclaimed film-maker Cynthia Madansky’s 15-part experimental film on the Iraq war titled “PSA Project”, followed by the selected videos from The UnifiedField videoperformance open call done earlier this year. The selected artists include Nerea Martínez de Lecea, Diana Larrea, Nina Boas, Jennifer Campbell and Marta Moreno Muñoz.
Following that will be The Future Sounds Of Folk 05, this time expect a rhythmic orgy as Sundanese musician extraordinaire exchanges broken Kendang and Kenong rhythms with One Man Nation’s electric spasms accentuated by the ever explosive (a)tonal renderings of Bambu Wukir. Post-Folk was never this dangerous.
